COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — A major traffic issue on South Carolina roads is hit and runs, and Richland County has seen two of those collisions just in December.
One of them was deadly and the other was a middle school student who was simply trying to cross the street. A woman is facing charges in that second case, but authorities are still trying to find the driver involved a deadly hit and run near Two Notch Road and Fashion Drive in Northeast Columbia.
“If you see something, say something. Don’t wait until it’s too far gone and we’re years down the road and we’re looking for that hit and run,” Lance Corporal for South Carolina Highway Patrol Troop 7 Brittany Glover said. “But if you see something right there, call it in.”…
