According to a new survey released by BRACH’S, mint candy canes aren’t going anywhere—especially in the South. Last year, the candy company produced more than 250 million candy canes, bringing a whopping 6.9 million pounds of crunchy candy bliss to households across the country. In fact, they’re considered to be America’s #1 candy cane brand, selling 31% of all candy canes in the United States. And who purchased the most, you might wonder?

The top mint candy-cane loving state is none other than Oklahoma, who bought the most candy canes per 1,000 households. From Kenton to Moffett, the Sooner State unwrapped, crunched, gifted, stirred, hung, and crushed more peppermint than anyone else in the country.
