LOWCOUNTRY, S.C. (WCIV) — Gas prices in South Carolina have continued to drop in the last week, now averaging at well below $3 per gallon as of Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 3,028 stations in the state.
The average price of gas in SC fell 3.6 cents per gallon in the last week, for a new average of $2.43 per gallon Monday. This recorded average is 21.0 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stands 27.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
