SOUTH CAROLINA — A South Carolina prison inmate serving time for drug-related convictions has died in what officials say is a suspected homicide.
The South Carolina Department of Corrections confirmed that 46-year-old Luis Antonio Maldanado died Tuesday while incarcerated at Turbeville Correctional Institution. Officials said Maldanado was found unresponsive inside the facility.
