Upstate woman accused of stealing nearly $21K from nursing home resident

COLUMBIA, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced that his office’s Vulnerable Adults and Medicaid Provider Fraud unit (VAMPF) has arrested an Upstate woman accused of stealing thousands from a senior home resident.

Officials said that 46-year-old Crystal Rochelle Walker of Seneca was charged with exploitation of a vulnerable adult and breach of trust with fraudulent intent, value $10,000 or more.

She was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on Friday…
