‘I owe everything to him’: Family remembers hero who saved loved one in deadly DUI crash

The family of Malcolm Johnson, a victim of a deadly crash in Columbia, and his girlfriend’s family are speaking out about his final act of bravery.

Johnson was struck and killed by a drunk driver while crossing the street with his girlfriend, Aurora Agee, near Gervais and Park Street.

According to his mother, Claudia Johnson, and Agee’s sister, Alexandra Agee, Malcolm pushed Aurora out of harm’s way before being hit.
