COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – A man is now being charged in connection with a shooting at a Richland County apartment complex.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department said Daquan Wilson turned himself in Wednesday night. He’s charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and breach of peace.
Wilson’s charges are linked to a reported shooting at the Spring Garden Apartments on Percival Road. RCSD said deputies initially responded to North Kings Street, where they found a victim shot in the upper body. The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover.
Deputies then reportedly discovered the shooting happened at the apartment complex and that the victim had fled the area in their vehicle. RCSD said multiple shell casings were found in a parking lot at the complex. Witnesses reportedly identified a specific apartment where the shooting happened…
