SUMTER, S.C. — As the Walk for Peace continues through the Midlands, leaders at the Sumter Buddhist Temple in Sumter are offering encouragement and reflection for the monks taking part in the journey.
Temple leaders say the walk reflects core Buddhist values centered on mindfulness, compassion, and peaceful living.
