Measles exposure confirmed in Columbia; 124 new cases reported in SC since Friday

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Health officials are reporting a measles exposure in Columbia as cases across the state have increased by 124 in just a few days.

The South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) reports that one person visited the South Carolina State Museum in Columbia while infectious. This person did not know they were infectious at the time of the exposure.
