LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities say a Saturday evening fire in Lexington County led to the death of a dog and forced two people out of the home.
A Lexington County spokesperson said the fire happened late Saturday night in the area of Bridgewater Road and Squire Drive. Authorities said two people were displaced and uninjured in the ordeal, but added that a dog had died as a result of the fire.
Fire crews extinguished the fire by early Sunday morning and reported no injuries. Authorities said there was no power to the home, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation…
