Two victims, ages 22 and 90, identified after deadly crash on I-20 in Lexington County

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Authorities have identified two people who died in a head-on crash on I-20 in Lexington County.

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher said the crash happened around 10:30 a.m. at the 63-mile marker of I-20 near Columbia, near Bush River Road.

Fisher said one of the victims, 90-year-old Murray Kenneth Paxton of Lexington, was heading east in the westbound lanes of I-20 when he collided head-on with a vehicle driven by the other victim, 22-year-old Emery Thomas Woody of Augusta, who was heading west…
