SOUTH CAROLINA — Numerous school districts across South Carolina adjusted their schedules for Wednesday in response to lingering winter weather impacts from a recent storm, with many opting for e-learning days, delays or closures.
E-Learning Days:
- Anderson County — All district schools will observe an e-learning day due to hazardous travel conditions.
- Cherokee County — CCSD will hold an e-learning day, and all after-school athletic events and activities scheduled for Wednesday are canceled.
- Oconee County — The district will observe an e-learning day.
- Pickens County — Students will be on e-learning due to poor travel conditions.
- Spartanburg County — Multiple districts (1, 2, 3, 6 and 7) are on e-learning for Wednesday; District Five will be closed.
- Union County — UCSD will observe an e-learning day.
Delays:
- Abbeville County — Schools will operate on a two-hour delay.
- Laurens County District 55 & 56 — Both districts announced a two-hour delay with buses running later in the morning.
Normal Schedules:
- Greenwood School District 50 and Greenwood District 52 — Both districts will return to a regular scheduleWednesday with all classes and activities taking place as usual.
