COLUMBIA, S.C. — As snow continues to fall across central South Carolina, road conditions are becoming increasingly dangerous, especially as temperatures drop and wet pavement turns slick.
Master Trooper William Bennett with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said he has already seen noticeable changes across the Midlands just by driving through the area.
“I’ve noticed kind of Columbia, North Columbia, Blythewood — the roads have seemed to deteriorate more than maybe in Lexington,” Bennett said. “Now the snow is starting to come down more here in Lexington as well.”…
