COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has announced it will be hosting a public information meeting regarding the next phase of the Carolina Crossroads Project.
The drop-in style meeting will be held 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel, 2100 Bush River Rd., in Columbia.
SCDOT’s multiphase Carolina Crossroads Project is designed to reconfigure and improve the I-20/I-26/I-126 interchanges and surrounding 14 miles of Interstate corridor in Lexington and Richland counties. Phase 3C of the project would involve the replacement of the I-20 bridges over the Saluda River and the CSX railroad, and widening a portion of I-20, between US 378 (Sunset Boulevard) and Bush River Road, to accommodate future lane additions in upcoming phases of the project…
