COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — MUSC Health officials and local leaders marked the start of construction on a new primary care medical office building in Forest Acres on Tuesday.
MUSC held a groundbreaking at the new facility location.
The 4,500-square-foot facility at 5213 Trenholm Road is designed to expand access to primary care services in the area, including preventive care and chronic disease management.
“This new primary care office represents our commitment to growing alongside the communities we serve,” said Mac Leppard, M.D., of MUSC Health in the Midlands. “By expanding into Forest Acres, we’re making it easier for patients and families to access trusted, high-quality care close to home while staying connected to the full resources of MUSC Health.”…
