GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – An Upstate father is working to change state law after his 4-year-old daughter was allegedly killed by her mother’s boyfriend more than a year ago.
Stanley Carr’s daughter Addison was born with brain damage due to lack of oxygen. As a result, she had to use a G-tube and couldn’t speak or walk. The day after Christmas 2024, she was rushed to the hospital, where officials found a brain bleed and bruising on her face, neck, and chest. Addison died at the hospital.
Tyler Ternberg, the mother’s boyfriend, was arrested and charged with homicide by child abuse—a sentence carrying 20 years to life. But Carr says that’s not enough…
