IRMO – Lexington-Richland School District Five is expanding opportunities for students to earn college credentials while still in high school through the launch of a new Dual Enrollment Sophomore Associates Degree Pathway, made possible through a partnership with Midlands Technical College.
An information session for families was held February 11 at the Center for Advanced Technical Studies to provide details about the program and eligibility requirements.
Beginning next school year, the initiative will allow selected rising sophomores to begin working toward an Interdisciplinary Associate of Arts Degree while completing their high school diploma. Students will take college-level coursework at Midlands Technical College’s Harbison Campus while remaining connected to their high school experience in District Five…
