Georg Utz Inc., a manufacturer of plastic containers, has announced plans to establish its first South Carolina operation in Sumter County.
The $40M investment will include the construction of a 90,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, creating 50 new jobs and marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion. Operations are expected to begin in 2028.
