Proposed SC bill brings massive amount of public opposition at Tuesday hearing

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — Late Tuesday, State Rep. Travis Moore and a small group of lawmakers hearing testimony from the public about the proposed House Bill 4764, which looks to have local law enforcement take on the duties of federal immigration enforcement officers after getting the necessary training.

As there was a public hearing at the State House on Tuesday afternoon, the proposal was met with resounding opposition.
