COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – An arrest was made Wednesday after a woman was shot at a Columbia laundromat Tuesday, according to police.
The Columbia Police Department announced that Tierra Kirby, 30, was arrested and is charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. She is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
Officers were initially dispatched to a nearby convenience store and found a woman who had been shot in the upper body. She remains hospitalized in serious condition.
