Get ready, Elgin. You’ll soon have a new spot to get a Slurpee.
7-Eleven, which has stores across the U.S. and globally, is prepping a new location at 829 White Pond Road in Elgin, near northeast Columbia. That’s just north of exit 87 off Interstate 20.
An opening date for the new convenience store and gas station has not been publicly announced, but there are signs on the front door and at the roadside in front of the business announcing that it is “coming soon.” The store will have traditional unleaded pumps across the front of the property, and a diesel fueling area in the back…
