Bradford Pear Bounty project coming to Columbia

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – The Bradford Pear Bounty is coming to Columbia in March.

The project will be in Columbia on March 14 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 2404 Main St. It is a partnership with the South Carolina Forestry Commission and Clemson University. The program allows homeowners to remove and replace Bradford pears with native trees.

Property owners can exchange up to five Bradford pear trees for an equal number of free replacement trees…
