South Carolina woman wanted by Manheim Township police after alleged jury duty scam

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Manheim Township police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a South Carolina woman who allegedly scammed someone into sending her $12,000 last month.

Veronica Anntonette Oliva, 36, from Columbia, South Carolina, is wanted for theft by deception and receiving stolen property.

Police say the victim was called on Jan. 30 by a man who claimed to be a sheriff named “Sgt. Dean Mitchell.”…
