COLUMBIA, S.C. — For the past several years, small earthquakes have been reported in the Midlands. The latest was yesterday’s 3.0 quake near the Lake Murray Dam.
“I just felt a loud vibration, a loud boom, and I didn’t know what it was,” Columbia resident Quinton McElveen said.
