Shaw Air Force Base military personnel are no longer allowed to wear their uniforms off-base.
The change in policy was announced Saturday night, along with tightened restrictions on visitors to the base.
Military personnel must now report to the base in civilian clothes and change into uniform before reporting for duty. They must change back into civilian clothes before leaving the base, including short trips for meals, errands or any other routine travel…
