Officials report afternoon earthquake in South Carolina

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The United States Geological Survey reported an earthquake in South Carolina on Saturday.

Officials said the 2.2-magnitude quake hit at a depth of 7 kilometers about 3.1 miles south-southeast of Lake Murray of Richland around 1:55 p.m.
