SOUTH CONGAREE, S.C. — Lexington School District Two leaders have taken the first step toward replacing one of the district’s oldest elementary schools as the area prepares for significant population growth.
The district’s board of trustees recently approved the first reading of a revised long-range facilities plan that includes demolishing and replacing Congaree Elementary School with a larger campus.
