Statesboro, Georgia – Temperatures could dip to 31°F across southeast Georgia and the South Carolina Lowcountry by early Tuesday morning, creating a brief but potentially damaging freeze for crops, backyard gardens, and exposed plumbing.
According to the National Weather Service in Charleston, a Freeze Watch remains in effect from late Monday night through Tuesday morning for Bulloch, Candler, Evans, Jenkins, Screven, and Tattnall counties in Georgia, along with Allendale and Hampton counties in South Carolina.
