RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — Deputies in Richland County are investigating after a bullet was found in a bedroom of a home off Trotter Road that left a hole in the ceiling, alarming the family whose young child sleeps in the affected room.
Caroline and Jim Six said they discovered the damage on the morning of March 15 inside their 5-year-old son Elliot’s bedroom at their home off Trotter Road. According to the family, the bullet came through the ceiling and into the room below.
“It was very shocking, the last thing we would’ve thought that would’ve caused that hole was a bullet coming through the ceiling,” Caroline Six said. “We hear gunshots around here often and we kind of just shrug it off, but it made it very real to see a bullet come through our ceiling where our little boy sleeps every night.”…
