U.S. Attorney Bryan P. Stirling announced Thursday that Laclarence Lamarcus, 43, of Columbia, has been sentenced to more than 24 years in federal prison. The sentencing followed a jury trial during which Anderson was convicted of 12 counts of drug and gun offenses.
Evidence obtained during the investigation revealed that Anderson sold 10 firearms and quantities of methamphetamine, cocaine, and crack cocaine to confidential informants on four occasions in May and June of 2024.
According to authorities one of the firearms that Anderson sold contained a Glock switch which converted the weapon into a machine gun, and two of the firearms he sold had been linked to a homicide and attempted homicide in surrounding counties in the weeks prior…
