Bagpipes, kilts and more: Tartan Day South returns

Every year, Tartan Day South honors the Celtic culture and heritage in South Carolina’s Midlands region by showcasing the traditions of the United Kingdom region. This year is no exception as the event will return March 26–29.

Heading up the celebrations will be a Kickoff Party at Steel Hands brewing on Thursday at 6:30 p.m., featuring rock band 48 Fables. The festivities will continue Friday at 6 p.m. with the Celtic “Commotion” Concert at the Icehouse Amphitheatre in Lexington
