Lexington community collects gas cards to help TSA agents at Columbia airport

LEXINGTON, S.C. — A community effort is underway in Lexington County to support Transportation Security Administration agents at Columbia Metropolitan Airport who continue working without a paycheck due to an ongoing funding battle in Congress.

Local leaders and businesses are collecting gas gift cards to help TSA workers cover the cost of commuting as fuel prices rise.
