Things may look a little different on this Richland County Road as the state transportation department implements a new traffic pattern, albeit temporarily.
As a part of the Carolina Crossroads, or Malfunction Junction, project, a new temporary traffic pattern on Community Road will begin on March 31, according to the South Carolina Department of Transportation. The interim design will allow workers to ease traffic congestion by constructing new interstate infrastructure between I-77, Blythewood Road and U.S. 21.
Although the Blythewood area isn’t directly connected to what motorists have regarded as “Malfunction Junction,” it’s part of the larger Carolina Crossroads project, hence the coming changes…
