COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Homeless No More celebrated the opening of a new SC Works Connection Point in partnership with the South Carolina Department of Employment.
The new facility brings career services directly to adults in need. Organizers said it helps families move from crisis to stability by connecting them with training, job searches and hiring resources.
“Jobs and people go together. They’re essential,” an organizer said. “At Homeless No More, they’re helping families go to that point in time where they can be independent again. Jobs are integral to that ability to take that next step.”…
