COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – An arrest has been made in connection with a deadly 2025 shooting in Columbia.
The Columbia Police Department said 23-year-old Xavier Barnes is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime in the death of 29-year-old Maurice “Mo” Green.
According to police, Barnes allegedly shot and killed Green at a home on Columbia College Drive on July 14, 2025. Human remains later identified as Green were found a month later in Orangeburg County. Police allege Barnes disposed of the body after killing Green…
