A popular regional convenience store chain with plans to enter the Midlands area is developing a Lexington location along a busy road near Lake Murray.
Parker’s Kitchen is planning a store at 1367 N. Lake Drive, at the corner of Pilgrim Church Road and North Lake Drive. Lexington County Planning Commission documents from 2025 list the Parker’s Kitchen as a commercial project at the North Lake Drive property, and county property records show the land is owned by Drayton-Parker Companies LLC, which develops Parker’s stores.
Construction work was ongoing at 1367 N. Lake Drive when a reporter rode by on Tuesday morning. Construction firm Brunson, which has built stores for a host of convenience store brands, is working on the Lexington project, per signage at the site and a recent social media post.
