Man sentenced in crash that killed two women after police pursuit in Richland County

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — A man has been sentenced in connection with a 2023 crash that killed two women after deputies say he fled from a traffic stop.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced that Jaquice Williams, 21, pleaded guilty on March 31, 2026, to two counts of Failure to Stop for Blue Lights Resulting in Death.
