Richland One superintendent skydives after students surpass reading goal

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — Students in Richland One will be recognized Thursday for surpassing a districtwide reading goal during a celebration in Columbia.

The 2026 Superintendent’s Book Club Challenge Celebration took place at 9:30 a.m. at W.A. Perry Middle School, honoring elementary and middle school students who read at least 1,500 minutes.
