Three Midlands teachers selected for training as part of $1M nationwide donation

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — Three teachers from the Columbia area were selected to attend a national professional development training in Atlanta as part of a $1 million donation to support educators and classrooms, organizers said.

The SONIC Foundation funded and sent 400 educators nationwide to the Ron Clark Academy Experience in March, a two-day immersive training focused on instructional strategies and classroom culture.
