LEXINGTON, S.C. — A proposed redevelopment project along Old Chapin Road is moving forward after Lexington town council approved the plan on first reading.
The proposal, submitted by Connelly Builders Inc., would replace the existing Lakeland Apartments and a vacant Jaycee Hut with a new 50-unit townhome development. Plans include workforce housing and limited commercial office space along Old Chapin Road.
