Three teens found safe after running away from behavioral health facility

Lexington County, S.C. (WACH) — Three teenage boys, including a 14-year-old, were found safe after escaping from a behavioral health facility in Lexington County over the weekend, authorities said.

The juveniles ran away Saturday afternoon from Three Rivers Midlands, a treatment center on Ermine Road, according to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies said the teens jumped a fence in broad daylight, prompting a multi-agency search.

Law enforcement officers, K-9 units and drones were deployed to search the surrounding area. The teens were later entered into the National Crime Information Center database as runaways…
