SWANSEA, S.C. — In a classroom where every day can be unpredictable, one thing stays the same: Mrs. Katie Horton is there for her students.
“We never know what we’re gonna come into,” says Teaching Assistant Mackenzie Fallaw. “She’s great. She shows up for her kids. She’s compassionate, and it’s been a privilege to work with her.”
For the past 10 years, Mrs. Horton has taught young children at the Early Childhood Center in Lexington School District Four.
