Two Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office deputies will be honored next week by the South Carolina Sheriffs’ Association with the organization’s Medal of Valor Award, recognizing their bravery during an incident last year.
Deputy W.H. Brown and Corporal T. Floyd will be presented with the award for their actions on March 9, 2025. They are among ten deputies from four county sheriffs’ offices across the state who will be recognized during a dinner ceremony at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the Palmetto Club in Columbia.
