COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Richland One School District held a career expo to recruit for positions across the district.
The district partnered with Capital Supply, a local hardware store, to reach community members and inform them about job opportunities.
“We’re here today because we’re doing a recruitment event because we have a lot of positions open are roofing department, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and landscaping,” said Christopher Lampkin, Richland One coordinator for facilities management. “We just want to get the word out that we actually have the same craft groups that folks are working in here, that we have that available at R1.”…
