COLUMBIA, S.C. — Richland One officials say all students are safe after a shooting incident in a parking lot at the campus of Horrell Hill Elementary.
The district said staff at Horrell Hill Elementary School off Garners Ferry Road was notified by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department (RCSD) Monday of shots fired in the area. The district said they were told the incident took place in the back parking lot of the school.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department said a man was struck by gunfire just before 1:15 p.m. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported…
