The South Carolina Gamecocks have continued their hot streak on the recruiting trail.
On Friday afternoon, Gamecock fans got some great news heading into the weekend, as South Carolina officially landed 4-star athlete Brayden Tyson. The Snellville, Ga. prospect committed to South Carolina over his final schools in Purdue, Rutgers and Florida State. He made the announcement official at a ceremony at his high school.

Several signs pointed towards Coach Beamer and his staff landing the Georgia prospect. Tyson had announced his final list of schools earlier this week, including the Gamecocks, after taking a visit to Columbia on May 1. The other positive sign that suggested Tyson was headed to Columbia was that the Gamecocks were the only school that hosted him for an official visit before making his announcement.
