COLUMBIA, S.C. — A proposed Murphy’s gas station development at the corner of North Main Street and Sunset Drive cleared another hurdle Wednesday night, but nearby residents say they still oppose the project and worry about how it could impact the area.
The City of Columbia Urban Design Review Commission approved the design for the proposed development with recommended changes to the site layout and building appearance.
