City Council discusses proposed curfew for Uptown Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — A proposed curfew for unsupervised minors in Uptown Columbus sparked a lengthy discussion at Tuesday’s city council meeting.

The ordinance would apply to anyone under 18 in the uptown district between 9 p-m and 5 a-m. Supporters say it’s needed to proactively address a nationwide trend of “teen takeovers” before Columbus is impacted.
