SMITHS STATION, Ala. (WRBL) — One person has been injured in a single-vehicle crash that happened on Mullins Road in Smiths Station around noon on Wednesday, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
According to Alabama State Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the person was driving on Mullins Road towards Philadelphia Baptist Church when their truck left the roadway and crashed into the trees.
Along with Alabama State Troopers and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Smiths Station Fire and Rescue were also present at the scene.
According to deputies, the driver has been taken to the hospital for treatment. There are no further details available at this time. More information will be updated as it is made known…
