OPELIKA, Ala. (WRBL) — The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is inviting the community to participate in their annual tradition to help raise money for Lee County teachers.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, this marks the Fourth Annual ‘Clear the List’ Fundraiser. The event will be held from noon to close on Saturday, June 27, at Rock ‘N Roll Pinball located at 815 S. Railroad Ave.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says half of the proceeds from purchased wristbands will go back to ‘Clear the List.’ The program lends a helping hand to Lee County teachers to fulfill their classroom wish list over the summer.
Officials say teachers’ classroom lists consist of classroom necessities and supplies for students. Some classroom lists consist of but are not limited to the following:
- Binders
- Cleaning supplies
- Command strips
- Games
- Kleenex
- Notebooks
- Storage bins
- Tape
- Writing utensils
Lee County officials say a little over 100 teachers have submitted their classroom lists for the 2026-2027 school year so far.
